Delhi: At the Delhi Advertising Club's awards for
excellence in advertising, presented in the capital
on April 7th , 2004, Span Communications, one of India's
fastest-growing advertising agencies, walked away with
four gold and two silver medals in various categories.
Communications received gold medals for its campaigns
for Indian Oil's consumer products as well as consumer
trade promotion schemes, corporate communications for
the Income Tax department and Diamond Kitchen's consumer
its clients Mount Kailash packaged drinking water and
Evernova Interiors, it received silver medals in the
category of consumer products and retail stores respectively.

while Montage Advertising won the advertising campaign
of the year for Liberty shoes. More than 500 nominations
for the awards were submitted by leading agencies, which
included JWT, Triton, Mudra, Span Communications, HTA,
Rediffusion and others. A jury comprising 20 leading
advertising professionals evaluated the nominations.
The 9th DCA Awards were widely attended by leaders in
advertising and media. DCA chairman R C Tanwar and Secretary
V K Chopra presented the awards.
