Chahram Zolfaghari to head Prithvi Information's telecom operations in the Americas

Global IT and telecom service provider, Prithvi Information Solutions has announced the appointment of Chahram Zolfaghari as the senior vice president of telecom, Americas.
Zolfaghari joins the company's Brazil operations, where Prithvi is seeing demand for its 3G network services. He will split his time between south and north America, the company said in a release.
He joins Prithvi from WFI in Latin America (prior to its acquisition by TetraTech) where he was president and managing director for south America.
With more than 16 years of experience in wireless network rollouts and consulting in the telecom industry, Zolfaghari has held various management and technical positions throughout his career at MSI, eWS, and Nexius Wireless in the US, Europe, and Latin America.
A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Telecommunications in France, Zolfaghari has obtained his PhD in signal processing from Orsay University, France.
Prithvi Information Solutions is a multinational information and communications technology company with global headquarters in Hyderabad, India and US headquarters in Bellevue, Washington.
