Axis AMC appoints Chandresh Nigam as investments head

Axis Asset Management Co. Ltd. today announced the appointment of its equity head Chandresh Nigam as the investments head, responsible for the entire investments function across all asset classes, reporting to Rajiv Anand, MD and CEO, Axis AMC.
All mutual fund managers, analysts and dealers will report directly or indirectly to him.
A mechanical engineer from IIT Delhi and PGDM from IIM Calcutta, Nigam has over 18 years experience in fund management. He has earlier worked with TCG Advisory, ICICI Prudential AMC and Zurich India AMC.
