5-day summer extravaganza by APTDC

Hyderabad:
The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation is
organising a five-day ‘Summer Festival 2004, beginning
April 30, at Durgam Cheruvu near the city.
Addressing the media, TVN Rao, executive director, APTDC
said, “The summer extravaganza will have celebrity
shows, fashion shows, cultural programmes and fireworks.”
He said popular entertainment groups like Aasma, Gaysil
Noroha, Goan Carnival, Aqua Flow, Bombay Vikings and
Euphoria would be major attractions during the festival.
Rao said that the show would have other attractions
like magic shows and mimicry performances and a number
of leading models from Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore are
expected to participate in the fashion shows organized
for the five day extravaganza.
He said tickets are priced at Rs 100 per adult and Rs
70 per child and would be available from April 28.
The
main sponsors of the event are Airtel, Sand Piper, State
Bank of Hyderabad and Pepsi.
