IDBI Bank, Andhra Bank in strategic alliance to share ATMs

Hyderabad: IDBI Bank and Andhra Bank have announced a strategic alliance to increase their automated teller machine (ATM) reach.

IDBI Bank acting chief executive officer Ajay Bimbhet and Andhra Bank chairman and managing director B Vasanthan said the two banks have entered into an agreement, which complements the strengths of the two and gives customers the benefit of the shared ATM network across the country.

Following this alliance, the customers of both IDBI Bank and Andhra Bank will be able to use the services currently being offered such as cash withdrawal and balance enquiry.

Both the banks also plan to expand the bouquet of ATM services. The shared network of 527 ATMs will accept all ATM, debit and credit cards issued by both the banks.
