Trump threatens to 'cut off' all ties with China

15 May 2020

US President Donald Trump has threatened to cut off all ties with China over the coronavirus pandemic, saying a 100 trade deals won’t compensate for the “Plague from China” and all those innocent lives lost.

Trump said he is no mood to talk to Chinese President Xi Jinping - that 100 Trade Deals wouldn’t make up the difference.
“As I have said for a long time, dealing with China is a very expensive thing to do. We just made a great Trade Deal, the ink was barely dry, and the World was hit by the Plague from China. 100 Trade Deals wouldn’t make up the difference - and all those innocent lives lost!” Trump tweeted.
Yet, despite the pressure on Trump to act against China, the US President said, “I have a very good relationship with Xi, but right now I don't want to speak to him,'' adding, “I am very disappointed with China. I will tell you that right now.
President Trump also confirmed that he will be pulling out US pension fund from China investments.
“There are many things we could do. We could cut off the whole relationship,” t
The US President said in an interview to Fox Business News.
Trump was reacting on the spread of the novel coronavirus across the world that killed nearly 300,000 people globally, including over 80,000 in America.
The United States has repeatedly asked China to allow the international community to go into a Wuhan lab to investigate the origins of coronavirus but it has been rejected.
'At some point, it's got to stop', US NSA said slamming China over '5 plagues in last 20 years.'
“We need reliable partners,” said US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Mike Pompeo, even as he blamed China for hundreds of thousands of coronavirus deaths.
“We asked to go over and they said no. They didn't want our help. And I figured that was OK because they must know what they are doing. So it was either stupidity, incompetence or deliberate,” PTI quoted Trump as saying.
The US President and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo have constantly claimed that the deadly virus originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology in the central Chinese city of Wuhan.
China, however, has denied covering up the extent of its coronavirus outbreak. Rattled by the accusations and calls for the investigation over the origin of the virus it has been threatening countries with repercussions.
Recently, China suspended beef imports from four of Australia’s largest meat processors after ties between the two countries deteriorated. This retaliation came after Australia last month called for an independent inquiry into the origins of the novel coronavirus.
