Unknown hacker takes down WikiLeaks site following fresh leaks

An unknown hacker today crashed the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks hours after it released 250,000 US diplomatic cables.
According to experts, the website was crashed by method known as distributed denial of service (DDoS).
However, The New York Times, Der Spiegel of Germany and The Guardian, continued to feature edited versions of the leaked documents.
According to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, the secret data released by the website exposed the "diplomatic history" of global affairs.
In an interview with al-Jazeera television, Assange said not a single individual had come to any harm as a result of anything that WikiLeaks had published at any time.
Meanwhile, The White House, condemned the release of secret document saying the action was ''reckless and ''dangerous.''
