Law & Kenneth brings Lerin Zacharia on board for Renault business

Law & Kenneth has appointed Lerin Zacharia as vice president to head the Renault business, which the agency had bagged last year. Zacharia will report to Anil Nair, chief executive officer and managing partner.

He joins the agency from Ikon Advertising & Marketing in Dubai, where he was the regional account director. At Ikon, Zacharia handled the automotive businesses for the agency, including Ford's (Ford, Mercury and Lincoln) and Mazda.

Zacharia will work with the Chennai branch of Law & Kenneth, which is handling the Renault account.

"We didn't want someone from advertising for the Renault business, but someone with brand management experience in the automobile sector," said Nair.

Zacharia fits the bill with his experience in the automotive sector and both local and international experience, he adds.

Zacharia has 16 years of experience in the advertising industry and has worked on watches, lubricants, electronics and retail categories besides automobiles over the course of his career.
 
He has worked with agencies like Clea Advertising in Mumbai and Rhizic Communications before moving on to Ikon in Dubai.
