Giovanni De Filippis is Fiat India's new MD

New Delhi: Giovanni De Filippis has taken over as managing director, of Fiat India Private Limited effective October 1st, 2005.
An old Fiat hand, De Filippis graduate in mechanical engineering from the University of Naples and joined Fiat in 1992
From 2001 till the India appointment, he had been involved in a number of projects and initiatives within the business development department including the negotiations with Tata Motors Limited.
