Sameer Desai quits Design Sutra

Sameer Desai, head designer, Design Sutra (Contract's design arm) had put in his papers.
 
Desai began his career with daCunha Advertising. He then moved to Lowe Lintas (then Lintas) as a visualiser. After that he went to Ogilvy and later Rediffusion - Y&R.

Desai has worked with well-known agencies in the senior post of a creative director. Towards the end of 2007, he joined Leo Burnett's design arm but was offered to head Design Sutra, which he accepted.

Onida, Taj Group of Hotels, Cadbury Celebrations, Cadbury Eclairs, Asian Paints and Shoppers Stop are some of the brands he has worked with.

Design Sutra was set up in 2001 and offers a host of design-branding services such as corporate identity, retail branding, packaging and product.
