Wadhwa is General Insurers Sector Association’s chairman

Kolkata: National Insurance Company CMD H S Wadhwa has been elected as the new head of the General Insurers (Public) Sector Association (Gipsa), a body that represents the management of four government owned general insurers. He succeeds V Jagannathan, CMD, United India Insurance Company.

With his predecessors K N Bhandari and V Jagannathan laying the ground for restructuring the four companies, Wadhwa now faces the tough task of taking the employees along with him.

Wadhwa joined the insurance industry in 1964 and has worked in various capacities.
