New Delhi: Aviva Life Insurance and ABN Amro Bank have launched Treasure Plus, an investment-cum-protection plan for the customers of the bank.

Treasure Plus is an investment plan with a life insurance cover and a value-added bank account. The investments will help create wealth for children, while the life insurance cover with accidental, non-accidental and permanent disability cover will ensure that a child's aspirations do not suffer.

The tax free-policy is available in tenure periods of 10 years, 15 years or 20 years and will be available to all ABN Amro customers between 18-50 years of age. The plan also attracts premium of as low as Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000, Rs 3,000 or Rs 4,000 payable on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or on an annual basis.

Says ABN Amro Bank senior vice-president and head (consumer banking, India) Nitin Chopra: “Child-oriented financial planning has emerged as the key need in our customer research. In response ABN Amro has introduced Treasure, a savings product exclusively for children, at the beginning of the year. Treasure Plus is the second offering to the target audience.“
