Stir against BoBs downsizing move

Kolkata: A number of employees of Bank of Baroda, under the banners of four unions, staged a day-long dharna before the banks zonal office here on 15 February to protest against the managements plan to downsize and take other harsh measures at the behest of "a US-based research organisation," according to a release jointly issued by the four unions.

The unions are All-India Bank of Baroda Officers Association, Bank of Baroda Karmachary Samity, Bank of Baroda Employees Union and Bank of Baroda Employees Association.
