commerce ministry has decided to conduct a microanalysis
of the sectors affected hit by the appreciation of the
rupee against the US dollar to identify those that might
require government help, by the end of this month.
ministry has set an export target of $160 billion for
secretary G K Pillai told reporters in Chennai, "We
will be doing a micro analysis and see which of the
sectors are getting affected. Unless we do this, we
will not know how much help they need."
