Deadline for filing GST returns in Kerala, Mahe and Kodagu extended

In view of the disruption caused due to severe floods in Kerala, Mahe (Puducherry) and Kodagu (Karnataka), the Competent Authority has extended the due dates for filing of the following GST returns by taxpayers registered in these areas.
Accordingly, taxpayers in these areas may file GSTR-3B for July by 5 October 2018; GSTR-3B for August 2018 by 10 October 2018; GSTR-1 for the quarter July to September 2018 by 15 November 2018; GSTR-1 for July 2018 by 5 October 2018; and GSTR-1 for August 2018 by 10 October 2018.
The last date for filing of GSTR-3B return form for July 2018 has been extended till 24 August 2018 for all class of taxpayers by the Competent Authority. The relevant notification for the same shall be issued shortly.
