Lowe + Partners promotes Rupen Desai as president, South East Asia

Rupen Desai has been elevated to president, Southeast Asia at Lowe + Partners, a newly created position at the agency.
He will report to Tony Wright, chairman, Lowe + Partners and Michael Wall, chief operating officer, Lowe + Partners.
Desai will be responsible for all Southeast Asia regions barring India and China.
He headed Unilever's worldwide business at the agency prior to the elevation and will continue to handle the account.
Besides Unilever, Desai has worked on brands like HSBC, Columbia Tri-Star, Nokia and others during his 15-year stint with the agency.
