Raghu Bhat senior VP and creative director has resigned from Contract Advertising. He plans to pursue an e-retail venture. His last day at Contract will be 15 December.

Just a few weeks ago his creative partner at Contract, Manish Bhatt, had announced that he would be resigning.

The two senior directors have also worked together at Ogilvy, Publicis Ambience and McCann Erickson India, and won domestic and international award shows such as the Abbys, The One Show, D&AD and Cannes Lions.

Bhat joined Contract in 1996. Among other things he set up Fungus Design, an online retailer for designer laptop bags, during his time as an ECD in JWT.
He plans to concentrate on collaborating with graphic designers across the globe for his business.

In Ogilvy and Ambience, Bhat experimented a lot with TV.
