M & C Saatchi India appoints Suranjan Das as executive director

M&C Saatchi India has appointed Suranjan Das as executive director and he will be heading M&C Saatchi's Mumbai office.
Prior to this, where he was senior vice president and managing partner, at Fortune Communications Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of JWT India.
Das has worked across product categories in JWT and Fortune for over 20 years. He comes with a strong track record in driving growth and building enduring relationships. Having led large offices across India, Das is known for his ability to empower and motivate teams.
He was seconded to head Fortune Communications in January 2006. Prior to that, he was vice-president and client services director at JWT Mumbai. Under Das, Fortune saw an unprecedented growth in revenues and also won a slew of awards in the past three years - Abbies, AAAI, as well as finalist certificates at the Cannes and London advertising festivals.
At JWT, Das had handled various categories of businesses that included FMCG, consumer products (HLL - Lux, Sunsilk, Pears; GSL - Good Knight, Emami, Chateau Indage Vineyards), durables (Philips, VIP Luggage, Godrej Appliances), finance (Citibank, Stanchart Bank, Stanchart AMC, LIC), travel and hospitality (Air India, ITC Welcomgroup - Sea Rock), and beverages (Smirnoff), to name a few.
