Colvyn Harris elected president, AAAI

The apex body of Induian ad businesses, Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) today announced the election of JWT CEO Colvyn Harris as president and Nagesh Alai, executive director, Interface Communications Pvt Ltd as vice president for the year ahead.
Multimedia Aquarius managing director Neville Gomes and Carat Media chairman Ashish Bhasin have been elected as secretary and treasurer.
Other elected members of the executive committee for the ensuing year are: M G Parameswaran: DRAFTFCB+Ulka Advertising; Nakul Chopra, Publicis Communications; Prasoon Joshi: McCann-Erickson; Sam Balsara: Madison Communications; Srinivasan K Swamy: R K Swamy BBDO Pvt Ltd; Surajit Nag: Advertising & Sales Promotion Company; Tapas Gupta: BEI Confluence Communication Ltd; Umesh Shrikhande: Contract Advertising (India) Pvt Ltd; Vikram Sakhuja: Group M Media India Pvt Ltd; and Vinod Nair: Network Advertising Pvt Ltd
Immediate Past President, Madhukar Kamath, MD and CEO, Mudra Communications will be the ex-officio member of the new AAAI executive committee.
