Kissflow, a workflow software firm, based in Chennai, has gifted BMW cars to five of its senior employees, as a reward for their long association with the company. The BMW 530d sedans, costing nearly Rs80 lakh each, were handed over the five employees of Kissflow during the celebrations of the company’s tenth anniversary of the flagship ‘no-code’ work management product.

Following the recent trend of rewarding old and trustworthy employees for their devotion and hard work, another Chennai-based IT firm, Ideas2IT, also gifted as many as 100 Maruti cars to its employees, for their constant support and unparalleled contributions to the company’s success and growth.
The blue and black coloured units of the BMW luxury sedan were handed over to the employees by Suresh Sambandam, the founder of the company. The five senior executives who received the BMW 5-Series as a reward are Prasanna Rajendran (Vice President), Dinesh Varadharajan (Chief Product Officer), Kausikram Krishnasayee (Director of Product Management), Vivek Madurai (Director of Engineering) and Adhi Ramanathan (Director of  Engineering).
The reward ceremony was held on the lawns of the World Trade Centre in Chennai, where the cars were delivered to five senior officers of the company by the founder of the company. The announcement of rewarding the senior executives with the cars was made out of surprise, during a lunch of the employees with the founder.
Commenting on the occasion, Sambandam said that he could not have thought of a better gift than a luxury car, so he decided to gift the senior executives brand new units of BMW 5-Series. He said that these five senior executives stayed with him in all the ups and downs the company has seen in all its years of existence. These cars are small tokens of appreciation for those employees.
One of the five senior executives, Adhi Ramanathan, said that this moment is just unbelievable, and it was a dream come true moment for him. While gifting all of his employees with BMW 5-Series sedans, Suresh Sambandam himself drives a three-year-old BMW 6-Series.
The trend of rewarding loyalty has seen much popularity in recent times. After employees of Hari Krishna Exports, owned by renowned businessman Sawji Dholakia, and BharatPe rewarded their employees with luxury cars and sports bikes, there are two new additions to the list – Kissflow and Ideas2IT.
Chennai-based Ideas2IT, an It firm, has gifted Maruti Suzuki cars to 100 employees.
“We are gifting 100 cars to 100 of our employees who have been a part of us for more than 10 years. We have a strength of 500 employees. Our concept is to return the wealth we have received, to the employees,” said Hari Subramanian, Marketing Head, Ideas2IT.
Murali Vivekanandan, founder and chairman, Ideas2IT, said the employees have made a lot of efforts for improving the company and the company is not giving cars to them, they have earned it with their hard work.
“Seven-eight years ago we promised that when we get lofty goals we will share our wealth. Awarding these cars is just the first step. We plan to roll out more such initiatives in the near future,” added Vivekanandan.
“It is always great to receive gifts from the organization; on every occasion, the company shares its happiness with gifts like gold coins, iPhones. Car is a very big thing for us,” said Prasath, an employee, who received the gift from the company.
