Transcend launches USB 3.0 ExpressCard adapter

Storage and multimedia products maker, Transcend today launched a two-port USB 3.0 ExpressCard adapter, an add-in card that allows users to enhance their notebook with USB 3.0 technology.

Gordon Wu, regional head, South Asia, Transcend, said, ''Transcend's USB 3.0 ExpressCard adapter's ExpressCard / 34 interface is compatible with virtually all current notebook computers, and offers unrestricted two-way communication between notebook PCs and the latest generation of USB devices.''

The adapter comes with two high-speed USB ports that fully support SuperSpeed USB 3.0 standard with connection bandwidth of up to 5Gb/s.

Priced at Rs1,900, the device comes with a two-year warranty.

Established in 1988, Transcend offers a full line of standard and proprietary memory modules, USB flash drives and portable hard drives, solid-state disks, MP3 players, flash memory cards, card readers, and multimedia products.
