Microsoft, in a tie-up with Snapdeal will launch an online store that would include the full range of Microsoft products such as phones, tablets, PCs and software.

Tony Navin, senior Snapdeal vice-president, electronics and home, said this unique, self-contained store built by Snapdeal would allow users accessibility to Microsoft's unified portfolio of phones, tablets, PCs and Microsoft software.

Interestingly, the store on Snapdeal's platform would allow Microsoft to manage product selection, promotions and launches as per the need and on the basis of the analytics shared by Snapdeal.

According to Sharlin Thayil, group OEM director, Microsoft India, consumers were increasing going online to shop for a number of things, including mobiles, tablets, laptops and software, and Microsoft therefore saw an opportunity in delivering Microsoft products and services through its online store.

''We are pleased to be partnering with Microsoft in opening their online store on Snapdeal. This unique, self-contained store built by Snapdeal will allow users accessibility of Microsoft's unified portfolio of phones, tablets, PCs and software,'' Navin said in a statement.

The store has been customised to offer an integrated Windows customer experience, the statement added.

The store would enable Microsoft to manage product selection, promotions and launches as per need and on the basis of the analytics shared by Snapdeal, it added.
