BSNL offers 336 days of data at Rs1,499 under new annual plan

State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has come out in what is the cheapest voice and data plan, as part of its market consolidation exercise.

Under the pocket-friendly plan, BSNL is offering data for 336 days (or 11 months) at Rs1,499, as it ramps up services with the roll-out of home-made 4G technology nationwide.

The affordable prepaid plans are intended to cement its reputation as a customer-centric telecom service provider.

Under the Rs1,499 plan, BSNL is offering voice and data services for 336 days. Users will be provided with 24 GB of data that can be used for the entire validity period.

Browsing speed will drop to 40Kbps once the data limit is reached. Voice calling is unlimited for all the 336 days while the plan allows 100 SMS per day.

Besides, BSNL is offering a high-value data plan with 2GB of daily data for a full year at Rs1,515, ie, 720 GB of data for 365 days.

Under the plan, users can continue to access the internet at reduces speed of 40 Kbps, once the daily high-speed limit is reached.

This plan does not include free calling, SMS benefits, or OTT subscriptions and is meant for users needing huge amounts of data.

Under the Rs1,551 pack, BSNL offers 1.5GB per day of data with unlimited voice calls and 2,400 SMS for 365 days.

Other prepaid plans include: 499 plan, 515 plan, 2GB daily data plan, 336 days validity plan, 365 days data plan, BSNL Re1, BSNL affordable plans, BSNL annual prepaid plans, BSNL budget-friendly recharge plans, BSNL data and calling plans, BSNL high-speed data plans, BSNL low-cost prepaid plans, BSNL prepaid benefits, BSNL recharge offers 2024 and BSNL unlimited voice calling.

The state-owned telco also has post-paid plans to suit differing individual and corporate needs
