Birla Power Solutions bags prestigious UNICEF contract

Mumbai: UNICEF has awarded a two-year, Rs10-crore contract to Birla Power Solutions Ltd, a Yash Birla group company. UNICEF will use these generators as power backup in various UNICEF centres across the country.
Birla Power, the largest provider of power solutions to frequent power failures, was the first company to manufacture portable generators in India in 1986, the first to roll out self start gensets in the country and the first to introduce emission compliant generators..
The
company is presently producing a wide range of generators catering to the
power requirements 500w to 5.5kva.
