GTB links ATMs with Visa network

Hyderabad: Global Trust Bank (GTB) has announced the connectivity of its ATM network to the Visa Global ATM network. In a press release issued here, GTB said Visa cardholders across the world could now access the banks My Time ATM network.

All categories of Visa Cards bearing the Visa, Electron or Plus logos could now transact through GTBs 170 ATM networks in 23 cities in India. The bank proposes to expand the network to 200 ATMs in the next couple of months.

Says GTB president (IT and retail banking) P C Narayan: "The facility will benefit over 3 million Visa cardholders, enabling them to avail of facilities like cash withdrawals and balance enquiry at GTBs ATMs."

Says Visa International country manager (South Asia) Santanu Mukherjee: "The tie-up with GTB will further increase the spread of Visa ATMs; cardholders will now have access to over 1,800 ATMs across the country."
