Hughes Software Systems (Hughes) unveiled application
protocol stacks pre-integrated over SS7/SIGTRAN (IP) transports
for platform/card/processor providers, system integrators,
network equipment manufacturers and application developers
all over the world.
Hughes will provide pre-integrated offerings of MAP over
SS7 or IP, CAP over SS7 or IP, RANAP over SS7 or IP, ISUP
over SS7 or IP and MEGACO over IP as unique packaged solutions.

accommodate scalability and load sharing in carrier nodes.
The company''s offerings are used to build network nodes
such as the service control point, intelligent peripheral,
softswitch, signaling gateway, 3G SGSN (serving GPRS support
node), 3G RNC, HLR, BSS, SMSC and monitoring devices.

are used for next-generation network nodes such as the
media gateway, access gateway, VoP terminal, cable call
management server and voice-over DSL media gateway controller.
The
protocol stacks are available both in portable source
code or binary form on many hardware and operating systems,
along with detailed API documents and user manuals. All
Hughes products come with warranty, upgrades and worldwide
