Percept Limited restructures entertainment division

Percept Limited has restructured its entertainment division, Percept Entertainment into three verticals, services, content and assests.
The restructuring is aimed at keeping pace with the evolving M&E (media and entertainment) industry and would enable Percept to offer greater efficiencies in the way it operates and functions, said Shailendra Singh, joint managing director, Percept Limited in a press statement.
Earlier, Percept Entertainment was divided into four verticals - Percept Pictures, Percept Talent Management, PDM and P9 Integrated.
The services division will be named Percept Sports and Entertainment, which will include experiential, and entertainment marketing, sports management and marketing, event management and marketing, celebrity endorsements and talent management, branded content, brand activation and promotions.
Devraj Sanyal will be the CEO of the new vertical while Rukin Kizilbash has been appointed COO of the arm.
The content division will be called Percept Pictures and will focus all aspects of films, television and ad films. Sanjay Ahire will continue as COO of the arm.
Percept IP is the new assets vertical, which will look after live entertainment, sports, digital and other media assets. Harshad Bhagwat will head the division.
