Monte Carlo awards creative business to Bates 141

Bates 141, part of the WPP Group, has bagged the creative mandate for apparel brand Monte Carlo after winning the multi-agency pitch. Nine agencies were in the fray for the account.

Bates 141 will handle the entire portfolio including Alpha, Canterbury and Monte Carlo.

The agency was chosen for its 360-degree approach towards the brand. The incumbent agency for Monte Carlo was JWT.

Monte Carlo and Canterbury brands are owned by Oswal Woollen Mills Ltd, the flagship company of the Rs2,500-crore Nahar Group.

Nahar Group is an industrial conglomerate with a diversified portfolio that includes spinning, knitting, and fabric processing, hosiery garments and knitwear.
