Was there any particular reason to use an interactive hoarding? Did you undertake any research to find out the viability of this media?
Since interactive hoardings are the first of its kind, there was no research to fall back on. Scullers was looking at communicating brand values through multiple points and having done a few others, we realised that the outdoor medium is gaining an edge.

We wanted to try out something new, which would be interactive and engage the customers.

''We've had many events around Scullers and since the Scullers byline is: 'This is life'. we had one byline that said 'Travel is life'. So the hoarding was like an extension to this byline.''

Also, now, with so much in the news and people sharing their travel photos on Facebook, the hoarding is like a giant Facebook which led to a lot of excitement.

Why was Bengaluru chosen as the first spot?
The first hoarding was put up on a trial basis in Bengaluru since Scullers has a base in Bengaluru. It also becomes easier for us to manage it. This kind of an interactive  hoarding requires a lot of  bandwidth to manage

For how long will the Scullers' LED hoarding be on display?
The time limit is two weeks - one week is over and we are happy with the response. Everything just fell into place and it was up during the festive season.
