Clio Awards 2009 shortlist announced

Nine Indian entries have been shorlisted for the Clio Awards 2009, with three agencies Publicis Communication (three entries), O&M, Leo Burnett and Contract (two entries each).

The shortlist for the design, innovative, integrated, interactive, print (direct mail), TV / digital/ cinema, poster, billboard, content and contact and strategic communications / public relations categories have been announced.

Leo Burnett India's Luxor Highlighter, Publicis Communication's Cancer Patients Aid Association and Design Sutra's Contract India have been shortlisted for single entries under corporate identity, environmental design and package design, respectively.

For the poster category, in the public service single, Contract Advertising has an entry, while Ogilvy India's work for Corporate Chhattisgarh's has been shortlisted for public service campaign.

In the innovative category, Publicis Communication's work on Wespro Digital Cameras has made it to shortlist for electronic equipment sub-category. The Luxor Highlighters campaign, which has earned Leo Burnett a lot of laurels already, has been shortlisted for integrated campaign single entry.

O&M India's work on IBM, titled 'Verb Dictionary', has made it to the shortlist for print (direct mail) category in the dimensional single sub-category.

For TV / digital / cinema, Publicis Communication has earned a shortlist for Himani Fast Relief, titled 'The Human Machine', under the pharmaceuticals single sub-category.
