Described as the perfect family vehicle, the Honda City has become the top-selling car in just two years of its appearance on the Indian roads. With front and rear crumple zones and side-impact door beams, the Honda City has been designed keeping in mind stringent collision safety regulations.
The car has a 1.5-liter water — cooled engine, in-line, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine. It has a programmed fuel-injection system that ensures optimum fuel efficiency. It has hydraulic servo — assisted brakes with ventilated discs in the front, and leading/trailing shoe drums at the rear.
The Honda City comes in the 1.3 Lxi basic model and its variants. The 1.3 Exi has power steering and central locking, while the 1.5 Exi comes with a tachometer as an additional feature. The 1.5 Exi-S is equipped with alloy wheels and rear spoiler besides the other 1.5 Exi options.
The top-end 1.5 Exi AT comes with four-speed automatic transmission.
