Suresh Balakrishna bids adieu to Mail Today

Suresh Balakrishna, chief operating officer, Mail Today, a daily morning newspaper circulated in Delhi, has put in his papers.
Balakrishna, who has been associated with the India Today Group since 2007, was an integral part of operations and business performance at Mail Today, a 74:26 joint venture between the India Today Group and Daily Mail of the UK.
He will be with Mail Today till the end of March, serving his notice period. His next destination, however, is unknown.
Rakesh Sharma, chief executive officer, Aaj Samaj will be replacing Balakrishna, according to sources. Sharma will report to Ashish Bagga, CEO, India Today Group.
With 35 years of industry experience, Sharma was with HT Media as business head for the northern region before joining Aaj Samaj.
