BIG Broadcasting appoints Arup Gopikrishna as vice president, distribution

Reliance Television, the broadcast subsidiary of Reliance Broadcast Network, has appointed Arup Gopikrishna as the distribution head for its upcoming TV channels, starting with channels under the Big CBS banner.
Gopikrishna was earlier business head, Pacenet.
He will report to Ashutosh Pandey, COO, Big Broadcasting and will be responsible for market penetration by entering into strategic distribution alliances with MSOs, DTH operators, and commercial establishments.
He has worked with brands like Zee-Turner, Walt Disney International, Zee Network and TV Today Network.
