Gajanan Nabar is new CEO and MD of Praj Industries

Praj Industries has appointed Gajanan Nabar as CEO and managing director effective 15 November 2010.
Nabar has over 22 years of multi-functional management experience. His last assignment was as managing director, Praxair India Private limited.
He has earlier worked with Monsanto India for seven years and was responsible for setting up seed firm's first chemical joint venture in Asia for the specialty resins and later led a successful alliance with Rallis India for sales and distribution of seeds and chemicals.
From 1988 to 1996 Nabar managed a variety of roles of growing responsibilities in sales, marketing and business development with Asian paints and BASF.
Nabar holds master's degree in polymer chemistry and a masters in management from Bombay University.
