Lalit Mahapatra appointed chief financial officer at Ecron Acunova

Full service CRO, Ecron Acunova today announced the appointment of Lalit Mahapatra as Chief Financial Officer. The appointment was announced by DA Prasanna, founder and chairman of Ecron Acunova.
Mahapatra will be based in Bangalore and will be responsible for controllership, financial management and financial integration of business across services and geographies.
Prior to joining Ecron, Mahapatra worked with Schneider Electric Company as finance head of the global technology center and the project contracting business. He was part of the global acquisition team and was instrumental in acquiring companies in India and Europe.
Mahapatra has over 15 years experience and has worked with companies like Siemens Information Processing Services Limited, Pacific Internet and Price Water House Cooper.
His areas of expertise include strategic planning, fund management and harmonising accounting practices to US GAAP, global IFRS standard and Indian GAAP. He is also a SAP champion in finance module.
Ecron Acunova provides services for phase I-IV clinical research, including clinical trial management, clinical data management, PK/PD services and central lab with its research centers in Europe and India.
