D. A. Prasanna appointed chairman, MD at Manipal Acunova

D. A. Prasanna has been appointed as chairman and managing director at Manipal Acunova. He was the vice chairman of the company prior to the appointment.
Manipal Acunova is a clinical research organisation founded by Prasanna and Manipal group. It offers clinical research services to pharmaceutical, biotech, nutritional, device and medical diagnostic companies.
An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and GE Global Business Leadership Program at Crotonville, Prasanna was one of the founding members of Wipro's team that initiated the company's entry into IT and was vice chairman of Wipro Ltd.
He has also worked for GE Healthcare and Manipal Education and Medical Group.
Manipal Acunova Limited had acquired Ecron, a European CRO in 2007 and expanded its services to Western and Eastern Europe. It is also the holding company for Acunova Life Sciences Inc.
