Philips Healthcare appoints Krishna Kumar as VP and business head

Delhi: Philips India has appointed Krishna Kumar as vice president and business head, Philips Healthcare, effective 1 June 2010.
Kumar has double masters from leading IIM - Ahmedabad and Kellogg School of Management and has wide experience spanning India, the US, Japan and China, having held senior positions in Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, HSBC Investment Banking, Microland and more recently in Johnson & Johnson's healthcare division.
Philips also said that in appreciation of the demands of the future 
business model, the company had formalised a new global function of professional and public affairs to deal with government and public institutions.
It has appointed its current vice president and business head of Philips Healthcare, Anjan Bose, as vice president and head opf the nerwly constituted professional and public affairs, from 1 June.
