V K Bansal appointed chairman, Morgan Stanley investment banking

Morgan Stanley today announced the appointment of V K Bansal as chairman of investment banking in India.
Bansal has played an important role in building the franchise and securing mandates with key clients.
In an appointment statement, Morgan Stanley said, "As chairman, Mr. Bansal will be able to best leverage his considerable network and focus on our most important senior client relationships."
Aisha De Sequeira will continue as head of India IBD and work closely with Bansal to ensure continued growth of business.
