Global HR excellence awards for Scneider's Dr Shalini Sarin

The World HRD Congress today awarded the ''Woman Super Achiever Award'' to Dr. Shalini Sarin, director, HR, Schneider Electric India, for her contribution to HR.

The citation of wfor thw award describes Dr. Sarin as ''a thinker and doer who is a role model and a believer in change. The position that she occupies in the fraternity is strategic and iconic. This award is recognition of her commendable work and contribution to HR.''

Dr Sarin joined Schneider Electric India in 2008 from CAIRN India where she was heading HR.

She holds a doctorate in organisational behaviour, and double masters in sociology and human resource management. She began her career as a teacher of organisational behaviour and then moved on as a retainer and consultant after which she joined Godfrey Phillips.

In a career spanning over 20 years, Dr Sarin has made a significant contribution in organisation development, learning and development, talent management, leadership development, coaching mentoring, etc.

As a management consultant and an executive coach she has contributed substantially in evolving and implementing strategies for maximising organistional and human performance.
