Cafe Coffee Day appoints K Ramakrishnan as president, marketing

K Ramakrishnan has been appointed president, marketing, at Cafe Coffee Day (CCD).  He has taken over from Bidisha Naaraj and will report to Alok Gupta, Director of CCD business.

Café Coffee Day is a division of India's largest coffee conglomerate, Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Company Ltd.

Ramakrishnan's role entails expanding the CCD chain throughout the country and implement the new  brand image of CCD. 

Ramakrishnan switched to CCD from Lenovo India where he held the post of the country marketing manager. He had earlier overseen the successful launch of TVS Apache and TVS Star during his seven-year tenure at TVS.
 
Other organisations where he worked include TTK Prestige and Tata Tea.
