Management changes at Tequila India

Tequila India, the integrated marketing services arm of TBWA India, has made some key changes in its management. Ravi Pinto, account director, OgilvyAction, has joined Tequila as client services director.

Vinod Vijaykumar, general manager, South was promoted to senior general manager. In his new role, Vijaykumar will work towards strengthening the agency's Mumbai operations.

Pinto brings in eight years of experience in brand activation. At OgilvyAction, Pinto spent five years handling clients such as World Gold Council, Tata Housing, e-Serve, ICICI Venture, Vodafone, Pidilite, HSBC, Barclays and Taxsmile.

Pinto has also worked with Display House, an event management company for three years.

Vijaykumar, on the other hand, will now handle the western region as well. In his earlier role, he handled clients such as Tata GoldPlus, SPAR, SABMiller, Apple and Titan Eye Plus.

Tequila's Mumbai operations were started this year and the agency already has a client servicing team in place in Mumbai, and the agency is now looking to build the creative team in this region.
