Pranab Majumdar appointed as CEO, Pudhari

Pudhari Publications, publisher of Marathi newspaper Pudhari, has roped in Pranab Majumdar as CEO. Majumdar has in the past worked with The Times of India for 21 years, where his last position was that of Response and Branch Head for Pune.
Prior to TOI, Majumdar had worked with PolyGram International, now Universal Music. He had also worked with Amrita Bazar Patrika and Jugantar in Kolkata.
Pudhari was launched in 1937 and has its main edition from Kolhapur, along with editions from Sangli, Satara, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Belgaum, and Panaji.
