Zee Group's G Ramprasad joins Tata Teleservices as CEO

G Ramprasad, the former CEO of Zee South, has joined Tata Teleservices as CEO for the Tamil Nadu Circle.
Ramprasad had been with Zee for a little over a year and had seen through the successful launch of Zee Tamil in October 2008.
Before joining Zee, Ramprasad was with the Murugappa Group as CEO of the Parryware business, followed by his role as the President of TI Cycles, where he was instrumental in the turnaround of company, after taking charge in April 2005.
Prior to the nine-year stint with the Murugappa Group, Ramprasad was with Hindustan Lever Ltd (now Hindustan Unilever) in sales and operations functions, and has also been associated with Sara Lee in India.
