Partho Dasgupta and Vishakha Singh quit Future Media to launch new venture

Partho Dasgupta, managing director and chief executive officer, Future Media, and Vishakha Singh, director, marcom and strategy, Future Media, have resigned from the Future Media group.

They now plan to start their own venture called Aurora Comms, a company that will deal in media and advertising.
 
Dasgupta was with Future Media since its inception in November 2006; Singh joined a little later.

Dasgupta was with the Times Group and instrumental in managing the brand operations of The Economic Times and the business of Times Multimedia.

He started the ET Intelligence Group, the research arm of The Economic Times. He was also instrumental in conceptualising the news channel and the business of Times Global Broadcasting Co. Prior to this, Dasgupta worked with companies such as CRISIL and Tetra Pak in various capacities.
