P V Shyam is distribution head BBC South Asia

BBC Worldwide has appointed PV Shyam as the distribution head for its South Asian business. Shyam will be responsible for the distribution of BBC Worldwide Channels and BBC World News for South Asia.
Shyam will be required to plan and strategise distribution deals, along with being responsible for the operational functions of BBC Worldwide Channels and BBC World News for South Asia.
Prior to joining BBC Worldwide, he was vice-president, business development at Digital Entertainment Network - a subsidiary of Network18. He has also had long stints with National Geographic Channel and Channel V.
