Ramkumar Subramanian has recently been appointed as the sales and marketing vice president for AMD India.
He was earlier director, corporate development at AMD's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, for five years, steering the hipmakers growth in China and other high-growth markets and has been instrumental in setting up partnership deals in Brazil and Russia.
Subramanian was a key member of the AMD team that led the acquisition of ATI Technologies in 2006, liaising with the Canadian authorities to secure governmental approvals for the deal.
He holds a bachelors degree in chemical engineering from Regional Engineering College, Trichy, and a PhD in chemical engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from Duke University.
