IIM Bangalore files affidavit in Supreme Court

New Delhi: IIM Bangalore (IIM B) yesterday filed an affidavit in the Supreme Cout against the HRD ministry's decision cut the IIM course fee from the existing Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 30000.
.
In its affidavit, the IIM-B said it would continue to charge Rs 1.5 lakh from the students. In the affidavit, it further stated that it would appropriate Rs 30,000 and keep the rest in a separate non-lien account till the apex court decided the issue raised by the PIL.

"The affidavit was in response to the Supreme Court order to us to implead in the PIL," said IIM-B spokesman Bringi Dev.
