Delhi Metro's E Sreedharan receives Qimpro's Platinum for business excellence

Mumbai: Pioneers of the quality movement in India, Qimpro Consultants have announced the winners of the annual Qimpro Platinum and Gold Standard Awards, which celebrate excellence in individual performance.
The awards span three categories, those of business, education, and healthcare.
For the business category, the Qimpro Platinum Standard 2007 (Business) was awarded to E Sreedharan, managing director, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
Chairing the panel of judges was the 2006 winner of Qimpro Platinum Standard, Ratan Tata, Chairman, Tata Sons.
In the business category, the Qimpro Gold Standard 2007 (Business) was awarded to Deepak M Satwalekar, managing director and CEO of HDFC Standard Life Insurance Co. Ltd.
In the education category, the Qimpro Platinum Standard 2007 (Education) was awarded to Dr Meenakshi Gopinath, Principal, Lady Shri Ram College. The winner of the Qimpro Gold Standard 2007 (Education) is Dr (Mrs) Y G Parthasarathy, Dean and Director of the Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Group of Schools, Chennai.
In the healthcare category, the Qimpro Platinum Standard 2007 (Health Care) was awarded to Dr. Abhay and Dr.Rani Bang of SEARCH.
