Lanco Infratech Q4 net up 26 per cent at Rs113 crore

Lanco Infratech Ltd today reported a 26 per cent jump in its after-tax net profit (PAT) for fiscal fourth quarter (January-March 2010), at Rs113.3 crore, compared with Rs89.9 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
Lanco said its operating revenues (before elimination) rose 14 per cent year-on-year to Rs2,942.3 crore from Rs2,584.3 crore in the similar quarter of the previous year.
PAT before elimination of profit on transaction with subsidiaries and associates was up 4 per cent y-o-y at Rs158.5 crore from Rs151.9 crore in the year-earlier quarter·
Cash profit vaulted 118 per cent y-o-y to Rs402.6 crore from Rs184.8 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) was up 119 per cent y-o-y at Rs664.4 crore against Rs305.3 crore in the previous-year quarter.
For the financial year ended 31 March 2010, Lanco Infratech reported a 64 per cent jump in after-tax profit, at Rs458.6 crore, against Rs280.4 crore in the previous financial year.
Operating revenues (before elimination) were up 36 per cent y-o-y at Rs9,457.2 crore from Rs6945.7 crore in the previous year.
