Mumbai: Trading sessions on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will be extended for the period March 5-19 on account of sun outage.

Due to heavy solar activity, the VSAT services are likely to be disrupted from March 5 to March 19. Accordingly, the exchanges have revised trading session timings from March 5 to March 19 (both days inclusive).

Trading will take place between 9.55 am to 4.15 pm for the ensuing period on BSE and NSE, a stock exchange circular said.

NSE will remain close between 11:45 am to 12:25 pm during the day.
